Occupational Therapy
An Occupational Therapist (OT) can assist you with a wide range of goals, such as:
- Finding a home of your own or moving in with housemates.
- Making sure your home is safe and supportive.
- Finding assistive technology that is suited to your needs.
- Getting out into the community.
- Building skills such as social skills, emotional regulation, and self-care.
- Learning more about your sensory preferences.
- Getting things done that are important to you.
Our focus is on delivering personalised care in a respectful and supportive environment, helping you cultivate resilience and foster a stronger sense of well-being.
We are a registered NDIS Provider, able to provide services to NDIA-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants, however are not registered to provide NDIA-managed services for children under the age of 7 at this time.
Assessments
We offer a range of assessments that strive to provide individuals with a clear picture of the functional impact of their mental health condition or disability. This knowledge can help guide treatment plans and support individuals in accessing the resources and accommodations they may need to thrive.
Our Occupational Therapists may be able to support with:
- Functional capacity assessments and reports
- Assistive technology prescriptions, supporting letters, or applications to funding bodies
- Sensory processing profiles and sensory modulation programs
- Home safety assessments
- Home modifications design, planning, and applications (Minor)
- Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) assessments and reports
