ABOUT THIS TRAINING

Manage Diabetes

This high intensity program is delivered by AHPRA Registered Nurses.

This program is a co-requisite with injecting where a person with diabetes requires support to implement their diabetes management plan and need regular injections they cannot administer themselves.

This program will allow support staff to support clients who have a diabetes management plan developed and overseen by a health practitioner such as a registered nurse or doctor. Staff need to have been trained by a health practitioner such as a registered nurse and have access to the management plan before providing these supports.
